Topshop Spring 2011

As a grunge-rock-and-roll-hippie that I am, I couldn't just pass by these gorgeous collection, by Topshop. I just love their lookbook, their pastel colored lowlights, tie dye leggings, the shoes and the overall feel of the collection, just makes me wanna walk everywhere under the sun and turn the sidewalk into my runway, because this collection really screams...
SUMMER IS HERE PEOPLE!!!!!!!
GET OUT AND HAVE FUN!!!

I hope you're all enjoying your vacation.
So what are you up to? Or what do you plan to do this summer?

Catherine Malandrino SS11

Ola! Just got back from a short vacay on my mum and dads home towns, for just a week.
Yey! Summer is finally here! I came across Catherine Malandrino's SS11, and was inspired
by the Boho Chic look, florals, the cuts and don't forget those rad glads , plus their set, I love the
whole idea, I mean you can see the garment on natural lighting and the outside environment, where
the people could actually see the look up-close, and its the viewers who are walking around, not the
models. Everything was just perfectly brilliant.
I hope her collection inspired you as well.
What do you plan to do wear this summer?

Have a happy summer you guys...

The Alannah Hill Autumn-Winter 2011

Gosh. I need these shoes. NOW.

I have always loved and adored Blair Waldorf's preppy outfits, but can't pull them off,
they just don't suite me. I don't look sophisticated enough for it, haha. I love how the collection
seems to look like a fusion of Chanel and Betsey Johnson. Don't you just love the prints,
and the textures of the fabric, on how they all complemented each other perfectly.
These are some of my favorites from the collection. If I had one of this outfits in my closet,
I would probably wear them to my first day of working at Vogue, as junior editor...hahaha...
I WISH! I can't even put together a fashion blog properly, let alone be a editor.
Haha, I know, some dreams are made to be silly.

GRUNGE IT UP

Look inspired by Taylor Momsen. I tried the raccoon eye make-up, and it just didn't work on me. *sob I her style, reminds me of Cherie Currie from The Runaways (corsets & stockings),
Edie Sedgwick (heavy eye make-up) and Lady Gaga (No pants policy) I looked everywhere for those perfect over the knee stockings on the local malls here in G.S.C,
but no luck... that would have made the outfit look better. Would like to thank Ate Love, for the photo's. Not bad for your first try. :) I really had fun. Wish we could do it again. The shoot was going down while were watching Glee,
we stopped almost after every frame, just to see whats happening. Haha. Love lots Ate Love.

Good Charlotte [Style Icon: Charlotte Free]

At the end of December 2010, I was obsessing about bleaching my hair platinum blonde, and dye'n it with pink highlights for the new year. Then I started to see Charlotte Free everywhere. She got me. She's so cool. I love her in and out of the runway, I mean, you see her in vintage shirts...what could possibly be cooler than that? And don't get me started with her pink hair!!! Ahhh...I'm green with envy! But there is one thing that I have that she doesn't...HEIGHT! She's only 5'7! but still, thats one of the reasons why she's famous anyway, and shes only 18 yrs old...
Her height doesn't fit the norm of the runway, but still, fashion is all about taking risks, and being open to changes. Just like ANTM cycle 15 winner Ann Ward, is super skinny and super tall.

Charlotte just made her debut this season in New York.
And as you can see...

...Dip dyed hair trend is still hot, It was everywhere in New York fashion week.

I can see it now, Charlotte Free...on fashion magazines everywhere!!! She going to be the new Kate Moss...
Looking forward to see more of her personal style....edgy cute punk perfection.
